Peppermint Simple Syrup

Peppermint simple syrup surprisingly works really well with soda. I have yet to try it with a snow-cone, but I'm sure it's really good. Let's get started:

What You'll Need:

A pot

A lid for the pot

A wooden spoon

A container

Ingredients:

2 cups water

2 cups sugar

5 Bigelow Mint Medley tea bags (you can get it here)

Instructions:

Step 1: Put the water and sugar in the pot and turn your burner to medium-high, then stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 2: Put the 5 tea bags in the pot and bring the syrup to a boil.

Step 3: Once the mixture starts to boil, put the lid on it and simmer it for 15 minutes.

Step 4: Once the 15 minutes is up, take the pot off the heat and let sit for 1-2 hours to cool and infuse.

Step 5: Take the tea bags out of the syrup and use the syrup with a Sodastream or blend with ice to make a snow-cone.

Step 6: Enjoy!
