Orange Cardamom Snow-Cone

Updated: Jun 3, 2021

The Orange Cardamom Snow-Cone is a great winter treat to eat... in front of the fireplace. You can add all sorts stuff to it. For example, you can add some mango sherbet and it tastes great! Let's get started:

What You'll Need:

A pot

A wooden spoon

A colander

A container

Ingredients:

2 cups water

3 cups sugar

2 oranges peeled with all the white stuff taken off

20 green cardamom pods, cracked

Milk of your choice (I use oat milk)

Instructions:

Step 1: Put the water and sugar in the pot and turn your burner to medium-high.

Step 2: Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves, then add the oranges and cardamom pods.

Step 3: When the mixture starts to boil, put a lid on the pot and turn your burner to low. Simmer on low for 15 minutes.

Step 4: When the 15 minutes are up, turn your burner off and let the mixture sit to cool and infuse for 1-2 hours.

Step 5: Strain through a colander into your desired container.

Step 6: Blend with ice and milk.

Step 7: Enjoy!
