Endless Hiker
Lemon Lavender Snow-Cone
Updated: Jun 3, 2021

The Lemon-Lavender Cone was actually made by accident. We were originally going to use ginger instead of lavender, but then we thought that might be a bad idea because it would probably taste like cough drops. We also didn’t have ginger at the time. I also made another discovery. It’s way easier to make snow-cones in a Vita-Mix than in a snow-cone machine. Anyway, let’s get started:
What You’ll Need:
A pot
A stirring stick
A strainer (colander)
A container
Ingredients:
2 lemons (zest and juice)
6 tbsp. Lavender
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Instructions:
Step 1 - Add water and sugar to pot.
Step 2 - Turn burner on and stir until combined.
Step 3 - Add lemon zest, juice, and lavender.
Step 4 - Stir often until it boils.
Step 5 - Once it boils, turn burner to low, put lid on pot, and simmer for 15 min.
Step 6 - After the 15 minutes, turn the burner off and let the syrup sit for 2 hours.
Step 7 - Strain the syrup into the container.
Step 8 - Enjoy!
