Grapefruit Ginger Rosemary Snow-Cone
Updated: Jun 3, 2021

The grapefruit ginger rosemary cone is a great snow-cone for winter because grapefruits are in season. This snow-cone is a little bit trickier than others because you can't get the white stuff from the grapefruit into the syrup. If you make it right, it's super tasty! It has the fresh, tart juiciness of the grapefruit with the spice and zing of the ginger and rosemary. It's a really great treat that I'm sure you guys will enjoy. Let's get started:
What You'll Need:
A pot
A lid for the pot
A wooden spoon
A colander
A container
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup grapefruit juice (takes about 2 grapefruits)
2 cups sugar
About 1 tsb. fresh ginger slices
About 2 tbs. rosemary
Instructions:
Step 1: Put the water, grapefruit juice, and the sugar in the pot and turn your burner to medium high.
Step 2: Put the ginger slices and rosemary in the pot.
Step 3: When the syrup starts to boil, turn your burner to low and put the lid on the pot. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4: When the 15 minutes are up, take the pot off the heat and let sit to cool and infuse for 1-2 hours.
Step 5: When it's done cooling and infusing, pour the syrup through a colander into your desired container.
Step 6: Blend with ice and enjoy!
