Dukkah Popcorn

Yay! It's the 1 year anniversary for Pop & Cone! I have done 56 posts in 1 year, including the ones I've posted today. This is a huge milestone for Pop & Cone. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll have a concession stand! Today is also the end of the Trader Joe's seasoning series. I had no idea how many Trader Joe's seasonings there were! After today, I will be posting a lot more snow-cone recipes. In fact, next week there's going to be a snow-cone recipe! It's called... well, I'm not going to tell you, but here's a hint: B....e... V..i... (one dot equals one letter). Alright, now it's time to make some Dukkah Popcorn! Let's get started:

What You'll Need:

A way of popping your popcorn (air popper, stovetop, microwave, etc.)

A bowl

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unpopped popcorn

1 tbs. butter and 1/4 cup olive oil together in a 1/3 cup

1 tbsp. Dukkah (you can get it at Trader Joe's or here)

2-3 tbsp. Nutritional Yeast

Salt, to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Pop your popcorn and put it in the bowl.

Step 2: Put the butter and olive oil in the microwave for 18-22 seconds. Then drizzle on the popcorn, while stirring it.

Step 3: Season the popcorn with nutritional yeast, Dukkah, and salt, to taste.

Step 4: Enjoy!
