Citrusy Garlic Popcorn

Since I have tried all the Trader Joe's seasonings, I can assure you that this one is my favorite. Also, since I have tried all the Trader Joe's seasonings, I will give you a list of my most favorite to least favorite flavors:

  1. Citrusy Garlic

  2. Everything but the Elote

  3. Vegan Chicken-less Seasoning

  4. 21 Seasoning Salute

  5. Everyday Seasoning

  6. Everything but the Leftovers

  7. Chili Lime*

  8. Everything but the Bagel

  9. Onion Salt*

  10. Coffee & Garlic BBQ Rub and Seasoning

  11. Mushroom & Co. Seasoning

  12. Za'atar

  13. South African Smoke**

  14. Ajika Georgian Seasoning**

  15. Spicy Italian Style Sprinkle**

  16. Cacao Cinnamon Sugar Blend**

*I have tried these, but they're pretty ordinary seasonings.

**I did not get this because I couldn't find it at Trader Joe's and it was super expensive on Amazon. I didn't think it was worth it.

Now you might ask, "Why is the Citrusy Garlic Seasoning your favorite?" I like it so much because of the way the tangy, sweet and sour flavor mixes with the garlic. It has pizzaz to it. It pops out from all the other seasonings. The Everything but the Elote is a close second, because who doesn't like cheese with a little spice to it. Although, it can't compare with the Citrusy Garlic's unique portfolio of flavors.

Let's get started:

What You'll Need:

A way of popping your popcorn (air popper, stovetop, microwave, etc.)

A bowl

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unpopped popcorn

1 tbsp. butter and 1/4 cup olive oil together in a 1/3 cup

1 tsp. Citrusy Garlic Seasoning (you can get it at Trader Joe's or here)

2-3 tbsp. Nutritional Yeast

Salt, to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Pop your popcorn and put it in the bowl.

Step 2: Put the butter and olive oil in the microwave for 18-22 seconds and put the Citrusy Garlic seasoning in the mixture (I highly recommend putting the seasoning in the butter. It really brings out the flavor!). Then drizzle on the popcorn, while stirring the popcorn.

Step 3: Season the popcorn with nutritional yeast and salt, to taste.

Step 4: Enjoy!
